Early Set | Jazz Quartet
5:30 – 8:30: KEVIN BLANCQ Trumpeter/Educator – A native of New Orleans, Kevin Blancq began musical studies with piano at age 9, trumpet at 10, and drums at 13. At the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA), Kevin studied both jazz (w/Ellis Marsalis) and classical styles while performing in a variety of musical settings. Now residing in NYC, Kevin Blancq features his swingin’ Big Band consisting of many of his local musical prodigies.
