Since proudly opening it’s doors in 1997, Swing 46 Jazz & Supper Club has been a beacon for jazz aficionados, emerging artists, and legendary performers alike. Our stage has witnessed countless magical moments—and the joyful camaraderie that only live music can inspire. We are immensely proud to have played a part in nurturing the local jazz scene and providing a welcoming home for artists and audiences.

Club owner, John Akhtar has been dedicated to keeping the mission of Swing 46 alive.

“It has been a labor of love,” said Akhtar. “I’ve done it all because I love Jazz, Blues, Big Band music, the bands, the dancers, the patrons and the people who work here… We’ve tried to keep the doors open rain or shine—pandemic and economic recession—for the majority of three decades. It’s worth celebrating everything that we’ve gone through, and to honor the amazing community we’ve built over the years!”

The memories, the music, the celebrations, the friendships created here will remain in our hearts forever…..
