Born in the Beatle city of Liverpool England\, Kenny became a powerhouse force on Clarinet\, Alto Sax\, Ukulele and vocals at a very early age. Classical masters awarded Kenny first prize in various music competitions but his big break happened at the BBC at just 17 yrs old. Kenny was spotted playing swing clarinet by one of England’s most famous entertainers\, and Hollywood actor and star entertainer\, Frankie Vaughan \nHe will be joined by Sarah Hayes ~ UK based Vocalist and Bandleader and former director for Crystal Cruises. Sarah captures the innocence and the sizzle of the 1950s with a Betty Boop meets Jessica Rabbit delivery of Jazz and Swing Standards. Joe Politi “Swing is a form of music that grew out of jazz\,” explained Stan Rubin. “The beauty of big-band swing is that it combines musical structure with improvisation\, the hallmark of jazz\, but swing doesn’t abandon the melody like some modern jazz.” As ruler of his particular kingdom\, Stan built over many decades in a library of swing\, a collection of the arrangements played by the likes of Goodman\, the Dorsey Brothers\, Artie Shaw\, Duke Ellington\, Count Basie\, Harry James and a half-dozen others who swung America from the 1930s into the early 50s. And he continues to keep this brand of music on the menu\, through live appearances by the Stan Rubin Orchestra.
