At the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA)\, Kevin studied both jazz (w/Ellis Marsalis) and classical styles while performing in a variety of musical settings. Now residing in NYC\, Kevin Blancq features his swingin’ Big Band consisting of many of his local musical prodigies.

DESCRIPTION:Late Set | Swing Band\n9:00 – 12:00: Swingadelic Big Band – Swingadelic has performed at Lincoln Center’s Midsummer Night Swing\, NJPAC\, and at many festivals\, including Bele Chere (Ashville NC)\, MusikFest (Allentown PA) the CD 109 Jazz & Blues Festival (Red Bank\, NJ) and the sanofi-aventis JazzFest (Madison NJ)…The band plays about 100 dates per year and has traveled from Maine to Atlanta. Swingadelic has maintained a residency for eight years at Swing 46 in NYC where they performs weekly.
